Lifestyle
The classroom was full of students. Everyone was busy in chatting. Nothing could be heard in the whisper. When the principal entered the classroom, there was a pin drop silence.
Introducing a colleague who came with him, the principal said, "He is the visiting professor of our college, Professor Ahmad, he is a thinker, intellectual and author of many books." These will tell you some of the tricks of living a successful life. He will have several lectures. Students who are interested in attending their lectures should attend regularly.
Focus on making yourself better
On the first day,
There was pin-drop silence in the classroom. The students' eyes were sometimes drawn to the professor and sometimes to the blackboard. No one had the answer to the professor's question. The question was:
_Visiting Professor Ahmad drew a long line on the blackboard without saying a word as he entered the hall. Then turning to the students asked_
"Who is one of you who can make this line smaller without touching it?"
"It's impossible.", An intelligent student in the class finally responded by breaking the silence, "to make the line smaller, it has to be erased and you are forbidden to touch that line!". The rest of the students also supported him by shaking their necks.
The professor looked at the students with a keen eye and drew another larger line below this line on the blackboard, smiling without saying anything. Now the line above the line looked small.
The professor kept the chalk on the table and said:
"You have learned a great lesson in your life today, how to get ahead of others without harming, maligning, envying and engaging them."
The desire to move forward is rooted in human nature. One way to accomplish this desire is to try to make the others smaller. But in such a case, man does not become great. Another way is to focus on making yourself stronger and bigger without engaging with others. Moving on without interrupting others is the right way to grow. This method is good for the individual and also for the nations. In this way collectively, the whole world has done the most and got the best results.
What people will say!
The next day as he entered the class, Professor Ahmad pasted a large white paper on the blackboard, after which he inserted a black dot with a marker in the middle of the white paper, then turned his attention to the class:
"What do you see….? ""
Everyone collectively said, 'A black dot'.
The students were expressing astonishment as what the professor was doing! Yesterday he drew a line and today a dot!
The professor said with a smile, "Wonderful! Such a large white paper with its brightness and the entire climate is beyond your eyes, but a small black dot is visible to you? "
The infinite number of good things in life are like a white paper, whereas a mistake is just a small dot. The majority of people pay attention to the mistakes of others but ignore the good.
One of your shortcomings or a single black dot makes it look clearer on the good in your life.
People's reactions to the issues of our lives have profound effects. Traditional phrases like "what people will say" always lead us in two ways. This distraction becomes one of the biggest obstacles to decision making. In this situation, the only result is psychological confusion.
And whatever you do regularly, whatever the path is, remember that you cannot satisfy everyone.
Weigh off your stress
On the third day, the professor started his class and raised a glass, which contained some water. He raised the glass so that all the students could see it.
"Sir, do you want to ask the same philosophical question whether the glass is half-empty or half-full," said one student.
The professor looked at him with a smile and said, "No! Today I want to ask you what do you think this glass weighs….? "
"Fifty grams", "hundred grams", "one hundred and twenty-five grams" - all began to respond in their way.
"I cannot tell myself the correct weight unless I weigh it!" said the professor. But my question is, "What if I was to hold this glass for a few minutes like this?"
"Nothing will happen!" The students replied.
"Well, now tell me what would happen if I kept this glass up for an hour?" The professor asked.
"Your arm will start to ache," replied one of the students.
"You said all right." The professor said in a supportive tone. "Now tell me what would happen if I held this glass all day long?"
"Your arm can be stiffened." Said, one student. "Your back may be stiffed," Another student said, "You may have a stroke. You have to go to the hospital! "
One of the students yelled and the whole glass began to laugh.
"Great!" The professor also laughed and then asked, "But in the meantime did the weight of the glass change?"
"No," the students answered.
"Then what caused the pain and numbness in the arm?" Asked the professor.
"Holding the glass too long, it's better to put the glass down now!" Said, one student.
"Perfect!" the teacher said.
"The problems in our lives are similar. If you keep them on your mind for a few minutes, they look fine. If you keep thinking for longer, they will become a headache for you. If they hold on for longer, they will stroke you. You will not be able to do anything.
See… thinking about the challenges (problems) in your life is important. But…. More importantly, these issues should be addressed before going to bed at the end of each day. This way you will not suffer any type of stress. The next morning you will wake up refresh and energetic and easily handle any issue that may come your way. And remember to keep the glass down, the unnecessary thinking on the problem. "
Forgive yourself by forgiving others
The professor said that yesterday, each student should bring a transparent plastic bag and tomato.
When students brought bags and tomatoes, the professor said:
"Each of you should pick one tomato in the name of the person you haven't forgiven in your life, and write the person's name on it and put it in your plastic bag."
Everyone did the same thing one by one, the professor looked at the class, and then some students' bags became quite heavy.
Then the professor told all the students:
"This is your homework. Take all these bags with you, carry them with you everywhere. Put it on your bed pillow at night, while at work keep it close to your desk. Tomorrow is Saturday, the day after tomorrow is your holiday, bring these bags on Monday and tell what you learned. ""
On Monday, when all the students came in, there were signs of trouble in the face. Naturally, the condition of the tomatoes began to deteriorate. They were flustered and stinky.
The professor said with a smile, "What lessons have you learned from this exercise?"
All the students remained silent.
"This exercise made it clear how much unnecessary weight we are carrying on our spiritual path. We realized how much we were paying for our distress and our negative thinking.
“Forgiveness is for you, not for them.”
All that glitters is not gold
"Today we will not read…."
The Professor said with a smile. All the students were surprised and upset.
"You will be tired of carrying a tomato bag for two days. For you today, tea from me"
At the same time, the college staff entered the lecture hall with two large jugs of coffee. There were also many cups, porcelain cups, plastic cups, glass cups, some of them simple and some very precious, beautiful and sophisticated….
The professor told all the students that, "Under your self-help, have that hot tea for yourself."
When all the students took cups of tea and coffee in their hands, Professor sighed
“You guys consider…. all the fine and precious cups have been picked up, while no one even has touched the simple and cheap cups, they are kept there as they were brought. "
"What does that mean, sir"? A student asked
"Although it is common for you to choose the best one for you, the same thinking is also the root of many of your problems and stress."
All the students were shocked, "What are you saying, sir! The choice of good things is a sign of superior taste. How is it a cause of our problems?”
The professor said with a smile: "All you need is tea or coffee... Not the cup…. But you all consciously raised your hand for better cups and all looked at each other from the thief's eyes. "
My children…. Young people… remember…. The true beauty of life is due to inner happiness. The magnificent bungalow, the precious car, the employees on the left and right, the friends made by the glitter of wealth are all like precious cups. Would you drink the tea or coffee in these valuable cups if it was sour?
The real value is of your life, health, and superior character. Everything else is made of glass, delicate dishes, these dishes will break or crack.
Remember! Don't let yourself be overwhelmed by the outward appearance of the world. Rather, uncover the true essence of life.
Focusing all of our attention on the cup(glitters) only deprives us of the enjoyment of the coffee(life) in it. Don't make the cups your mind…. Instead, enjoy coffee.
Example of a pencil
Beginning the class, the professor pulled out a pencil from his pocket and showed it to all the students:
“Today's lesson you will learn from this pencil…. There are five things in the pencil that we all need to know!
"What are they?" everyone asked curiously
"First thing: This pencil can be nice and capable of doing a great job when it allows itself to be held in one's hands.
Thirdly, it can correct the mistakes it can make.
Fourthly: The most important part of a pencil will always be what is inside it, and the fifth thing: Whatever surface the pencil is used on, it must leave its mark on it. No matter what the circumstances. "
"Now replace this pencil with yourself.
First thing: You too can be good and capable of doing great work, when you allow yourself to be held in the hands of your teacher or leader.
Secondly: You will have to go through the process of being repeatedly cut. These steps will come to you in the face of various problems of life in the world, to become a strong person you have to deal with these problems well.
Thirdly, enable yourself to correct any mistakes you may have made.
Fourthly: Our most valuable asset is in us, our inner self, we have to protect it from densities and degradation.
And the fifth thing: Whatever level you go through, you must leave your mark. No matter what the circumstances.
Live with the belief that this world needs you because nothing is worthless and aimless.
Live a complete life
The Professor looked at his students as he entered the class and said
"Today I'm going to teach you a very important lesson in life…."
He brought with him a large jar of glass, he placed the jar on the table and pulled out the table tennis balls from his bag and began pouring it into the jar…. No space left….
The Professor asked the students “Is the jar full?” “Yes….” The students answered together….
Then the Professor removed small pebbles from the bag and started to fill in this jar. He was also slowly moving the jar.
The Professor then asked: "Is the jar full now?"
The students again said “yes”
Now the Professor took a bag out of the bag and started pouring sand out of it in this jar. It even sat in the jar as far as possible.
The students laugh at their ignorance.
Professor asked again
"Is this jar full now?"
“Yes! Now it is full” Everyone said in a voice.
The professor pulled out two cans of juice from inside the bag and poured the juice into the jar, which also absorbed a bit of sand in it. Now the professor started explaining in a very nervous voice.
"Think of this glass burner as your life. Table tennis balls are one of the most important things in your life. For example, livelihood, education, family, spouse, job, health care, etc. Small pebbles are your ordinary needs and desires. Car, bungalow, maid, mobile, computer and other life stories, and sand means small waste and worthless things like fights, wandering, air casting, passing time and so on.
If you first fill the sand in a glass burner, there will be no room for table tennis balls and pebbles, or if you had just filled the pebbles, the table tennis balls could not be filled, the sand might fill up.
The same procedure applies to life as well. If you are behind the nasty and worthless things and end
your life with it, you will not have time for important things.
This is an important lesson for living a successful and peaceful life. Now decide for yourself how to fill your glass burner.”
The students were listening to the Professor's words with great care, suddenly one of the students asked "Sir! But you didn't tell us what the juice is? ”
The professor smiled and said "I was wondering why no one had asked this question yet... This means that no matter how busy we are in life and how many achievements we are missing out on, the sweetness of the relationship with our family, friends must always be there.”
Secret of happiness
Today was the last day of lectures, messages were going on in the students.
During it, the professor entered the classroom. The sound of the classroom slowly began to turn into a deep silence. The professor entered the classroom with a ballooner having a large number of red balloons.
At the professor's suggestion, the ballooner distributes the balloons among the students.
"Sir, today is not Valentine's Day." "Sir! Do you have a birthday?" Exclaimed another student.
The professor said with a smile:
"Each of you has to write your name on these balloons using a marker ". Everyone wrote down his name at the professor's suggestions. After that, all the balloons were collected and put in another room. Professor told all the students, "Now go to the room having all the balloons and look for a balloon with your name; make sure no balloons are lit and you all have five minutes."
Everyone began to look for the balloon of his name, colliding with one another in a world of misery. There was chaos. All balloons were of the same color, for five minutes no one could find the balloon with its name. On seeing this Professor Ahmad said now you have five minutes to catch any balloon
and give it to the person named, it will be two or three minutes that all people have their balloons.
and give it to the person named, it will be two or three minutes that all people have their balloons.
Speaking to the Class Professor said: "That's how our lives are, everyone is searching for happiness in the world of misery, not knowing where they are.
Youth…. Remember… our happiness lies in the happiness of others; give them their happiness and you will find your happiness!
